Q: I am attaching my device to the PC and cannot adjust my settings, a blue screen come up with the option for Mass Storage and PC Camera.
A: When the device is attached to the PC USB port the output voltage is not enough for full operation of the camera. To access the full features of the device, including settings and video recording, the device will need to be attached to the vehicles 12V power supply. This can either be done with the included power cable or by hardwiring the device using a hard wire kit (sold separately). When attached to the PC the option Mass Storage will cause the device to act like a flash drive allowing you to transfer files from the device to the PC. The PC Camera option will allow the device to function as a basic webcam.
